Texas Highway Products LTD has some of the most experienced and respected Traffic Signal Engineers and Professionals in Texas.

Darold Cherry, C.E.O. and founder of Texas Highway Products, has been working in the traffic signal industry for over 37 years.  Starting as a one-man shop, Darold has grown this company to currently employ 14 personnel.  Darold oversees all operations of Texas Highway Products.

May Cherry, C.O.O., has been involved in the traffic business (through Darold’s involvement with it) for over 30 years. Her experience in the financial, purchasing and legal fields at IBM was beneficial when she founded Cardinal Highway Products Corporation in 1994.

Fidel Garza, Vice President of Sales Marketing & Technical Support, has over 25 years of traffic signal engineering experience. Fidel started with Texas Highway Products in early 2000 when he managed most of our field support and sales services throughout the state.  He is currently our VP of sales, but continually increases his technical expertise in all areas of traffic signal optimization, design, communication, construction, operation, and system integration. 

John Adams, General Manager, brings over 15 years of management experience to Texas Highway Products’ traffic control business.  Using his expertise in logistics, business operations and human resources, he serves as the company’s overseer of day-to-day operations.

Jimmy Drake, Senior Field Support Technician, Jimmy brings over 12 years of traffic signal experience to the company.  His specialty is traffic signal design construction and cabinet troubleshooting. Jimmy is typically traveling across the state at least 3 to 4 days a week to provide set-up assistance at new signal installations and service trouble calls for our customers.

Bobby Evans, Senior Field Support Technician,  Bobby has over 20 years of traffic signal experience.  He specializes in traffic signal operational design and system troubleshooting.  Bobby is located in Houston and provides a local presence to support our customers in the Houston area.
