Darold Cherry, CEO

and founder of Texas Highway Products, has been working in the traffic signal industry for over 37 years. Starting as a one-man shop, Darold has grown this company to currently employ 15 personnel. Darold oversees all operations of Texas Highway Products.

May Cherry, COO/CFO

has been involved in the traffic business (through Darold's activities) for over 30 years. Her experience in the financial, purchasing and legal fields at IBM was beneficial when she founded Cardinal Highway Products Corporation in 1994.

John Adams, General Manager,

brings over 15 year of management experience to Texas Highway Products' traffic control business. Using his expertise in logistics, business operations and human resources, her serves as the company's overseer of day-to-day operations.

Bobby Evans, Houston Area Project Manager,

has over 20 years of traffic signal experience. He specializes in traffic signal operational design and system troubleshooting. Bobby is located in Houston and provides a local presence to support our customers in the Houston area.

Rusty Russell, North Texas Project Manager,

has over 14 years of traffic signal experience (traffic signal maintenance, trouble shooting, construction inspector). Before joining our company he was working for the City of Tyler (5 years) and TxDOT Tyler District Signal Shop (9 years). Rusty’s responsibilities included set up and testing of cabinets, programming of controllers, and setting up camera systems and traffic signal radios.

Jeff Campbell, Vice President

has over 20 years of industry experience including starting his career at Texas Instruments, and most recently as the VP of Engineering at Optek Technology.

He has extensive experience in optoelectronic, communication, and sensing technologies. Jeff earned a B.S.E.E. from Old Dominion University and a M.S.E.E. as well as a M.S. in Physics from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Jimmy Drake, South Texas Project Manager,

brings over 12 years of traffic signal experience to the company. His specialty is traffic signal design construction and cabinet troubleshooting. Jimmy is typically travelling across the state at least 3 to 4 days a week to provide set-up assistance at new signal installations and service trouble calls for our customers.
